Welcome to Rainbow Nurseries
Rainbow Nurseries are independent family-run nurseries, where your child is at the heart of everything we do.
The nursery environment has been carefully curated with your child in mind and their safety is considered first and foremost. Our goal is to provide a stimulating, enriching environment where children feel at home.
We believe that a warm and nourishing atmosphere gives them the security they need to be empowered to explore and learn.
The early years are a crucial time in a child’s development, when they are getting to know the world and carving out their place in it. We passionately support individuality and aim to provide each unique character in our care with tools and activities tailored to their age, personality and ability levels.
Seeing is believing, so if you like what you read on the following pages, we invite you to come and pay us a visit. Our friendly staff are always happy to meet parents and show them everything we do. We are pretty proud of them!
Set in the heart of Balham, just off Balham High Street and only a couple of minutes from the Rail and Tube station, was established in 2015 and has quickly gained an excellent reputation with local families.
Our brand new nursery, opening at the beginning of 2020, will be offering places for children age 3 months to 5 years old.
will be wedged right in the heart of the bustling, historic Crystal Palace Triangle.
"My daughter has been at Balham Rainbow since she was 9 months old (now 3.5 years old). She has made loving and meaningful connections with so many of the staff members and in the early days I was very grateful for the genuinely loving and caring environment. As she’s got older the activities have supported her development along the way and I’m often surprised (and impressed!!) with what she learns when she at nursery. One weekend she spontaneously started counting to10 in Spanish! Management are engaged and very practical, and always looking to improve things for the children, and they get taken on outdoor actives as much as weather allows, which I really appreciate."
